Regulation: EN 378-x
BT (Low Temperature) cold rooms operate between -5°C and -30°C. These are cold storage rooms built with prefabricated panels featuring high thermal insulation, sealed doors, and refrigeration systems designed to maintain a consistent internal temperature.
TN (Positive Temperature) cold rooms can be built with or without flooring.
Available Insulation Types:
• PIR (Polyisocyanurate) polyurethane foam, density 40 kg/m³, with panel thicknesses ranging from 70 mm to 120 mm. Panels joined with eccentric hooks, recommended for small areas.
• Continuous PIR foam panels, with thicknesses ranging from 60 mm to 240 mm.
Dry or foamed joints, depending on panel thickness and internal temperature.
Ideal for large areas.
• Oriented mineral fiber, class "0" or "d0", continuous panel with tongue-and-groove joints.
Available in thicknesses of 100 mm, 150 mm, 160 mm, and 200 mm, ideal for wide surfaces.
Room Features:
- Self-supporting structures with certified walkable ceilings
- Internal and external finishing: pre-painted or plastic-coated sheet metal, AISI 304 stainless steel, or fiberglass
Refrigeration Systems:
- Monoblock units for rooms up to 50 m³
- Split units with weatherproof condensing units for outdoor installation, ranging from 5 kW to 600 kW
- Control modes: ON/OFF or inverter-based
- Multi-compressor units from 300 kW to 600 kW
Refrigerants
In line with increasingly strict environmental regulations on greenhouse gas refrigerants, we offer solutions that minimize refrigerant usage and/or use GWP = 0 refrigerants.
Refrigeration Units:
Indirect fluid systems, suitable for temperatures between +12°C and -5°C. These systems consist of a chiller producing an eutectic solution, improving refrigeration efficiency. Through a pumping station, the fluid is delivered to the cold room evaporators.
This system allows for heat recovery, which would otherwise be lost to the environment, to produce hot water (approx. 40°C) usable for defrosting cycles or other purposes.
Direct expansion refrigeration units using low-GWP F-gas
Direct expansion pumped-fluid units, available in single or multi-compressor versions, operating in subcritical or transcritical CO₂ cycles
Evaporators
Cubic or dual-flow evaporators, with direct or indirect air distribution
Control Systems
Easy-to-use microprocessor controls
Electronic thermostatic valves to improve evaporator refrigeration efficiency
Axial and/or radial fans with EC (electronically commutated) technology
